Elderly Pedestrian Seriously Injured when Hit by BMW in Visalia

A 60-year-old woman who was not using a designated crosswalk sustained major injuries after being hit by a BMW in Visalia, said reports.

Authorities stated that a 52-year-old BMW driver identified as Edmund Auyeung, from Visalia, hit Janet Cross, also from Visalia, while the pedestrian was walking across Chinowth Road.

The accident occurred at around 9:40 p.m. along south of Noble Avenue.

According to reports, Cross was rushed to Kaweah Delta Medical Center to receive immediate treatment for her injuries.
