Motel Slapped with Lawsuit Due to Bedbug Bites

Under the premises liability law, property owners have the responsibility of keeping their property safe. They may be held liable if someone was injured while inside it.

The Rodeway Inn-Regalodge Motel in Glendale and its franchiser Choice Hotels International Inc. were sued after three women allegedly suffered from bedbug bites while staying at the establishment.

Reports said Vera Domini, Regina Martocci, and Nicole Eatman, filed a case in the aim of recovering monetary damages for mental anguish and medical expenses. They alleged that they suffered from bedbug bites when they stayed at the motel last October 2009.
