This means they can give us a sense of security, but can also injure or even kills us if an attack occurs.
In fact, an elderly woman died last November 2 after she was mauled by two pit bulls while in her backyard in Moreno Valley.
According to reports, the dog attack victim was identified as Cristina Casey, 53, from Moreno Valley.
The two pit bulls were quarantined while authorities are conducting an investigation.
They were euthanized more than two weeks after the attack.
According to police, what happened is only an accident, but it does not mean that the dogs’ owners will not face involuntary manslaughter charges.
Even dogs that misbehaved are punished if their actions caused injury to innocent people.
In fact, a number of dogs will be euthanized after injuring three children, including a 5-year-old girl who is now under life support.
According to authorities, a pack consisting of five dogs escaped from a house and charged at Josie Arellano and her three kids. Destiny was seriously injured while the two other children needed to be stitched.
One of the violent dogs died after being gunned down when it attacked an investigator. Two other dogs were quarantined after they were captured. They will be euthanized after the quarantine period.
The dogs involved in the attack include a mastiff, two smaller mixed breeds, and two pit bulls.
