Elderly Woman Killed in Pacific Coast Highway Pedestrian Accident

A 73-year-old woman was killed in a pedestrian accident along the Pacific Coast Highway yesterday.

The woman, who was identified by the coroner’s office as Amelia Ordona, was trying to cross the road with her sister when she was struck by a northbound vehicle.

The impact was so strong; it threw Ordona on the opposite side where she was struck by at least six more vehicles.

Although the driver of the first car that hit Ordona stayed and cooperated with the police, most of the other vehicles did not stop and kept going.

Ordona’s sister also sustained minor injuries in the accident.

As of the moment, there were no arrests made.

Police closed a portion of the Pacific Coast Highway while conducting their investigation

It was reopened at noon.

It s tragic end to a long life for Amelia Ordona, we hope that she is in peace.

Our prayers go out to the Ordona family for their loss.
