Hungry Boy,6, Crashes Mom’s Mini Van to Buy Food

Aside from teaching their kids the distinction of right and wrong, parents are also responsible for their children’s safety and well-being.

Unfortunately, most accidents involving children could have been prevented if only parents had been more responsible.

In a recent accident in Oregon, a 6-year-old boy crashed his mom’s minivan after he left their house to buy some food.

According to reports, the boy’s hunger prompted him to get the keys to the minivan and leave their house in the Klamath Falls area. But, before getting too far, the boy hit some mailboxes before the minivan hit a Dodge pickup.

Fortunately, the boy wasn’t injured and the driver of the pickup only sustained minor injuries in this accident.

Hopefully, this will serve as a lesson to parents who should never leave their child unsupervised.

  1. It’s funny how a 6-year-old will take charge of his own hunger. His attempt failed, but it has sent strong warning for parents to be more responsible in managing the household and the family’s vehicle. Better leave some cookies on the kitchen table than pay for hospital bills.
