The presence of drunk drivers on the roads puts every road user in danger (even themselves) because of their inability to properly operate a vehicle and make logical decisions while driving.
A suspected drunk driver faced the consequences of his own actions when he was injured after being involved in a solo crash on Highway 33 in Ventura.
According to reports, Dustin Alan Husted, 21, from Ojai, was traveling south along the area when his car suddenly went into the road’s center divider and hit a cement barrier.
Police said the driver was arrested on the suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol.
However, authorities were forced to release him to Ventura County Medical Center so that he can be treated for a fractured skull, facial lacerations, and a fractured nose.
The police will surely be waiting for him when he gets out of the hospital.
