SUV Hits, Injures Toddler

Children are naturally playful. Adults and guardians should never let young children be out of their sight as they are incapable of looking after themselves, and thus, will be more exposed to accidents that could cause serious injuries.

An 18-month-old boy was recently airlifted to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles after he was hit by an SUV driven by a woman in her 60s in North Stichman Avenue.

The woman was reportedly backing up her vehicle when the accident occurred. The toddler appeared to have shoulder injury and other non life-threatening injuries.

Other factors surrounding this incident is still under investigation but good thing the child is sure to recover from this.. I wish him well and a speedy recovery from his injuries.

Accidents involving children are increasing and so parents and guardians should be extra cautious in making sure that the child will be kept safe at any given time.
